HAPPY EASTER!

He lives! The tomb is empty!

Christ has risen!

"I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live." John 11:25

Thank God for Easter's blessed assurance of hope eternal!

He is risen, indeed!

Indeed! Oh how my Mom loved the promise of the Easter season - her faith was so strong - I still find strength from her from above. She lives within me, always. And so too the risen Christ is hope eternal. Amen Happy Easter

Gail...

Hope you had a great day. We certainly did...church with the family, dinner afterwards, and an afternoon of visiting and fun. I loved every moment. Weather was in the 70s. As perfect an Easter as you could ever wish.

Take care. Happy Easter!

I was a wonderful day. indeed! Went to church at Salem with some friends, then took an impromptu Easter lunch from Kroger and a nice huggy, soft, Easter bunny (stuffed) to hug to my cousin who is going can fever-crazy after her third surgery on her crumbling vertebrae. she has only three more left without fractures, but the rest of them are good now. So we had a great lunch , lots of talk and a couple of games. The only thing I would add is a little reflection time out in nature somewhere, but it was a great day! Glad yours was, to. Pix of Anya???

Sounds like you had a fine Easter. As we did. I was awake at 3:30 a.m., got up at 5:30, made my broccoli dish, we dressed and bailed to drive down to the daighter's at 9:15, delivered Easter basket to granddaughter Anya and met Merlin, the labradoodle pup. Then church, dinner afterwards, and spent the afternoon pushing Anya around the neighborhood sidewalks, accompanied by daughter, pooch, and occasionally Ladylove; son-in-law, who'd sprained his ankle in a fall at work Friday, gimped around and raked the yard. A good, tiring time was had by all. We got back home not too long before dark. I was pretty beat by bedtime, given the stupidly early wake up time. I've passed my insomnia gene, which I inherited from Mom, on to my daughter...she got up at 5:30, too. We are quite the pair.šŸ˜
